2007 – Startede min første virksomhed

I 2007 startede jeg min virksomhed DICM ( DIn Computer Mekaniker ) hvor jeg lavede pcer, opsatte printere, netværk m.m. for privat kunder og mindre virksomheder. Da jeg startede DICM var jeg ansat (vikar på ubestemt tid) som husassistent ( Fint titel for 90% opvasker og 10% rengøringspersonale ) i en virksomhed der lavede mad til plejehjem og skoler.
På dette tidspunkt var jeg lige blevet 18 og startede mine dage med en 30 minutters bustur klokken lidt over 8 og havde fri klokken 13:00 hvorefter jeg måtte vente en time på næste bus for at komme halvvejs hjem igen og så vente yderligere 30 minutter for at køre 30 minutter igen eller hvis jeg var uheldig at bussen var kørt, så var det 1 time ekstra ventetid. Hjem og lave pcer og svare mails m.m. indtil en gang ud på aftenen.
Slut 2007 stoppede jeg som husassistent, da min kontrakt udløb og jeg havde ingen intentioner om at forlænge den og var derfor nu fuldtid igang med pc support og når der var tid, lavede jeg udvikling. Blandt andet webshop system og auktions systemer (Brugte 2 år på det første system jeg lavede , som jeg kaldte BornAuc).
Navnet DICM var ikke planlagt, jeg havde forberedt mig rigtig længe på at starte min virksomhed, faktisk tæt på et år, hvor jeg havde lavet forretnings plan, hjemmeside, logo, visitkort, tekster, fundet leverandører og alt muligt andet. Men jeg havde glemt en ret vigtig ting… At tjekke om navnet var ledigt. Oprindeligt var navnet DCM, men det var så taget fandt jeg ud af og i stedet for at skifte til noget der gav mening, tilføjede jeg blot et i og DiCM var så startet.
Jeg startede med 500 kroner og købte et sæt pc højtalere, et kabinet og et par ting endnu. Som så blev solgt videre for at tjene nogle penge. Det var mit første salg fra køkkenbordet.

2009 – 2011 – Salg af akvarieplanter, foder og fisk

En lille side forretning (Navn: Omnis) jeg havde gang i var salg af akvariefisk , foder og planter. Fisk og planter blev købt af en dansk importør og avlet videre på for så at blive solgt videre til private og en dyrehandel. 2 kroner kostede en guppy når den skulle sælges til dyrehandel, som så solgte den til 25 kroner.

2010 – 2013 – Webshop med salg af te. Tekanden.com

Tekanden.com var en webshop hvor vi solgte te. Den blev startet sammen med min mor, som stod for en masse ting, som produkt tekster og generel webshop administration. Hun arbejde som chauffør på det tidspunkt og lavede webshop arbejdet når hun havde fri, jeg stod for det tekniske omkring shoppen og aflevering af pakker til posthuset. Det var i tiden op til starten af denne webshop hvor jeg virkelig fik sat mine udviklings evner på prøve.
Arbejdet med Tekanden og det fysiske lager er en af de mest spændende oplevelser jeg har haft og har ofte tænkt at hvis jeg ikke havde solgt webshoppen, så ville den idag havde været enorm. Shoppen var på salgs tidspunktet den webshop i Danmark med største udvalg af te i breve (Lidt omkring 400 forskellige produkter på lager) og vi var i gang med planlægning at få det største udvalg af te generelt.
